Effective Date: January 9, 2026
Your privacy matters. FindWorthy's mission is to connect the world's business owners and professionals and allow them to be more productive and successful. Central to this mission is our commitment to be transparent about the data we collect about you, how it is used and with whom it is shared.
This privacy policy applies when you use our Services (described below). We offer our users choices about the data we collect, use and share as described in this privacy policy.
We are a networking application designed to connect people for business and professional advancement, through searching for, finding and evaluating opportunities. Our privacy policy applies to any user or visitor of our application.
Our registered users ("Users") share their professional and business identities and information, engage with their network, exchange contacts and business insights, search and view information about others and their businesses, as may be relevant to their needs.
FindWorthy (hereinafter referred to as the "App") is a digital platform provided, controlled and maintained by Chella Software Private Limited ("Company"). The Company provides the Services to people all over the world under these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to FindWorthy.com, FindWorthy-branded apps, and other FindWorthy-branded sites, apps, communications and services offered by FindWorthy ("Services"), including off-site Services.
Our Privacy Policy helps explain our data practices, including the information we collect, store and process to provide our Services. It also explains the steps we take to protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all of our Services unless specified otherwise.
Please also read FindWorthy's Terms of Service, which describe the terms under which you use and we provide our Services.
The Company will be the controller of your personal data provided to, or collected by or for, or processed, in connection with our Services.
As a User of our Services, the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to this Privacy Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy, as well as updates.
Changes to the Privacy Policy apply to your use of our Services after the Effective Date.
FindWorthy ("we" or "us") can modify this Privacy Policy, and if we make material changes to it, we will provide notice through our Services, or by other means, to provide you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may close your account.
You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to this Privacy Policy means that the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.
We collect information that you choose to provide when you register for an account, build your profile, or share content on the platform. This information helps us enable networking, communication, and discovery features within the app.
To create an account you need to provide data including your name, mobile number, verification information (such as OTP or confirmation codes), general location (e.g., city), and a postcode. This information is used to authenticate you, create your account, and enable access to the app's features.
You may choose to provide additional information on your profile to enhance your visibility, credibility, and networking opportunities within the app. This information is optional and is shared only based on your activity and privacy settings.
The additional information you may choose to add includes:
Providing this information helps improve profile discovery, allows others to better understand your background, and supports meaningful connections and interactions on the platform. You are always in control of what information you share.
You can edit, update or remove any profile information at any time through your account settings. Changes you make will be reflected across the app, and removed information will no longer be visible to other users, except where retention is required for legal, security or operational purposes.
This refers to any content you create, send, or share while using the app. This content is used primarily to deliver your communications and enable interactions with other users.
Direct Messages: When you send direct (one-to-one) messages to another user, we process the content of those communications in order to deliver them. This may include text messages, images, documents or other attachments. Direct messages are visible only to you and the intended recipient(s). These messages are used solely to enable communication and are not shared with other users.
Undelivered Messages: When you send a message that cannot be delivered immediately (for example, if the recipient is offline or has network issues), we store that message on our servers in order to complete delivery. Undelivered messages may include text messages, images, documents, or other shared content. We keep it in encrypted form on our servers as we try to deliver it. Once the recipient comes online, the message is delivered to them.
Media Forwarding: When a user forwards media within a message, we store that media in encrypted form on our servers to aid in more efficient delivery of forwards. We offer end-to-end encryption for our Services. End-to-end encryption means that your messages are encrypted to protect against us and third parties from reading them.
You can use the contact upload feature and provide us with the phone numbers in your address book on a regular basis, including those of users of our Services and your other contacts. If any of your contacts aren't yet using our Services, we'll manage this information for you in a way that ensures those contacts cannot be identified by us. You can create, join, or get added to groups, and such groups get associated with your account information. You give your groups a name and can provide a group profile picture or description. We have options for you to remove your contact information at any time and removed data will no longer be used.
You and others may search content that includes information about you on our Services. We also may collect public information about you, such as professional-related news and accomplishments, and make it available as part of our Services.
We receive information about you from other users. For example, when other users you know use our Services, they may provide your phone number, name, and other information (like information from their mobile address book) just as you may provide theirs. They may also send you messages or send messages to groups to which you belong. We require each of these users to have lawful rights to collect, use, and share your information before providing any information to us. You should keep in mind that in general any user can capture screenshots of your chats or messages and send them to FindWorthy or anyone else, or post them on another platform.
We collect information that is publicly available, such as your name, phone number and business details, from trusted organizations, clubs, associations or event managers. We collect this information to help you get connected with the right people, verify business information and enhance networking.
We receive data about you when you use some of the other services provided by us. For example, if a link provided by you opens in a web browser, we may receive information from the external website about your visit or interaction, according to their own privacy policies.
Other users may report content, messages, or accounts they believe violate our policies. When this happens, we may receive the reported content or message, details about the account involved, and context needed to review and take appropriate action. We use this information to maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the platform.
We log usage data when you visit or otherwise use our Services, such as when you install or update our app, perform a search, or view or click on content. We use log-ins, device information, and internet protocol addresses to identify you and log your use.
We collect device and connection-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, app version, mobile network, connection information (including phone number, mobile operator or ISP), language and time zone, IP address, device operations information, and identifiers.
We may request access to certain features on your device to enable app functionality such as:
You can allow, deny, or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Denying permissions may limit certain app features.
Our Services are dynamic, and we often introduce new features, which may require the collection of new information. If we collect materially different personal data or materially change how we collect, use or share your data, we will notify you and may also modify this Privacy Policy.
We use your data to operate, maintain, and improve our Services, support professional and business networking, and provide a safe and relevant experience. We may use your personal data to improve, develop, and provide Services, personalize our Services, and gain insights with the help of AI. How we use your data depends on how you interact with the platform and the features you choose to use.
Our Services help you connect with others, find and be found for work and business opportunities, stay informed, and be more productive.
Stay Connected: Our Services allow you to stay in touch and up to date with colleagues, partners, clients, and other professional contacts. You can connect with professionals who you choose, and who also wish to connect with you. You will be able to search each other's connections in order to exchange professional or business opportunities. We use data about you (such as your profile, profiles you have viewed or data provided through address book uploads or partner integrations) to help others find your profile, suggest recommendations, and enable you to invite others to become a user and connect with you. You can also opt-in to allow us to use your precise location or proximity to others for certain tasks (e.g., to suggest other nearby users for you to connect with, or notify your connections that you are at a professional event). When you invite someone to connect with you, your invitation will include your basic profile information (e.g., name, profile photo). We will send invitation reminders to the person you invited.
Stay Informed: We use the data we have about you (e.g., data you provide, data we collect from your engagement with our Services) to personalize our Services for you, such as by recommending relevant content. We keep you informed about professional updates and activity including showing updates from your connections, and sending notifications about messages, events, and platform updates. You can control what information you receive through your notification and privacy settings.
Career: Our Services allow you to showcase your professional profile, explore opportunities, and seek out, and be found for, relevant people or services. Your profile can be found by those looking to collaborate or engage with talent or services you offer. We will use your data to recommend and show you and others relevant professional contacts. Keeping your profile accurate and up-to-date may help you better connect to others and to opportunities through our Services.
Productivity: Our Services allow you to collaborate with colleagues, search for potential clients, customers, partners and others to do business with. Our Services allow you to communicate with other users, organize groups and events. This helps you use the platform efficiently for professional communication and networking.
We will contact you through email and other ways through our Services, including text messages and push notifications. We will send you messages about the availability of our Services, security, or other service-related issues. We also send messages about how to use our Services, network updates, reminders and promotional messages from us. Please be aware that you cannot opt out of receiving service messages from us, including security and legal notices.
We use users' data and content for invitations and communications, promoting membership and network growth, engagement and our Services, such as by showing your connections that you have used a feature on our Services.
We use data, including public feedback, to conduct research and development for our Services in order to provide you and others with a better, more intuitive and personalized experience, drive membership growth and engagement on our Services, and help connect professionals to each other and to economic opportunity.
Other Research: We seek to create economic opportunity for users of the global workforce and to help them be more productive and successful. We use the personal data available to us to research social, economic and workplace trends. In some cases, we work with trusted third parties to perform this research, designed to protect your privacy.
Surveys: Polls and surveys are conducted by us through our Services. You are not obligated to respond to polls or surveys, and you have choices about the information you provide. You may opt-out of survey invitations.
Customer Support: When you reach out to our support team with questions, problems, or requests, the information you provide (your account details, messages, screenshots, or any other information) is collected so we can help you. This helps us improve features, fix issues, and make the app more useful for everyone.
We use your data to perform analytics to produce and share insights that do not identify you. For example, we may use your data to generate statistics about our users, their profession or industry, to show information about engagement of our Services, to create demographic workforce insights, or to understand usage of our Services.
We and our Affiliates may use your data for security purposes or to prevent or investigate possible fraud or other violations of the law, our User Agreement and/or attempts to harm our users, affiliates, or others.
Profile: Your profile is fully visible to all users of our Services. It can also be visible to others on or off of our Services (e.g., users of third-party search tools). Your settings, degree of connection with the viewing user, and search types (e.g., by name or by keyword) impact the availability of your profile.
User Interactions and Engagement Data: Our Services allow viewing and sharing information including through Search, business pages, event and group chats. Users, including businesses, with whom you communicate can store or share your information (including your phone number or messages) with others on and off our Services. You can use the block feature in our Services to manage who you communicate with.
When you participate in group chats, communities, or event-based conversations, any content you share is visible to all members of that group, community or event. Users who join a group or event may be able to view messages shared after they join. Messages remain accessible to group members unless deleted by you, removed by a group administrator, or the group or event is closed.
We let a user know when you view their profile. We also let businesses know when you've viewed their Page. Businesses may be notified when you have shared their business page.
We use others to help us provide our Services (e.g., maintenance, analysis, audit, payments, fraud detection, customer support, marketing and development). They will have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.
We may need to share your data when we believe it is required by law or to help protect the rights and safety of you, us, or others. It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you; (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations; (4) protect the security or integrity of our Services or the products or services of our Affiliates; or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of FindWorthy, our users, personnel, or others. We attempt to notify users about legal demands for their personal data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency.
We can also share your personal data as part of a sale, merger or change in control, or in preparation for any of these events. Any other entity which buys us or part of our business will have the right to continue to use your data, but only in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy unless you agree otherwise.
We generally retain your personal data as long as you keep your account open or as needed to provide you Services. This includes data you or others provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services. Even if you only use our Services when looking for a new opportunity every few years, we will retain your information and keep your profile open, unless you close your account.
We provide many choices about the collection, use and sharing of your data, from deleting or correcting data you include in your profile to communication controls. We offer you settings to control and manage the personal data we have about you.
For personal data that we have about you, you can:
If you choose to close your FindWorthy account, your personal data will generally stop being visible to others on our Services within 24 hours. We generally delete closed account information within 30 days of account closure.
We retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our User Agreement, or fulfill your request to unsubscribe from further messages from us. We will retain de-personalized information after your account has been closed.
Information you have shared with others (e.g., messages, group posts) will remain visible after you close your account or delete the information from your own profile, and we do not control data that other users have copied out of our Services. Group content associated with closed accounts will show an unknown user as the source. Your profile may continue to be displayed in the services of others (e.g., search tools) until they refresh their cache.
You are responsible for ensuring that any obligations under the platform's terms (e.g., business page management or group responsibilities) are addressed before account deletion. You must follow the app's account deletion process and not attempt to circumvent it in ways that could compromise platform integrity or security.
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible. If you believe that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section below.
We implement security safeguards designed to protect your data, such as HTTPS. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, we cannot warrant the security of any information that you send us. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. This may occur when we or our partners operate servers, cloud infrastructure, or support services outside India.
When such international data transfers take place, we ensure that:
We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information remains protected and is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, applicable Indian laws (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules), and other relevant data protection regulations.
By using the App and providing your information, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in locations outside your country of residence, subject to the safeguards described above.
